It’s me, Hi
Jess Sinnott
Founder and STEM Education SpecialistMy favourite childhood memory is lying in the garden beside my brother, with magnifying glasses in our hands, fascinated by the little scorch marks we could make with the sun. I’ve loved STEM ever since - before I even knew what it was.
Today, as a qualified teacher and STEM specialist, I still believe children learn best when they are curious, absorbed and free to explore. My understanding of how children think and learn, shapes everything I design. Wild About STEM was created to give children those experiences: hands-on STEM sessions that build confidence, creativity and problem solving skills while linking meaningfully to the UK curriculum.
Every session is designed to spark imagination, encourage collaboration and help children see themselves as capable thinkers, makers and innovators.
Our Curriculum
Wild About STEM uses a carefully curated curriculum designed by a STEM specialist and experienced primary educator.
Our sessions are rooted in meaningful, real-world STEM themes - including biomimicry (engineering inspired by nature), sustainability, material science and creative design — all structured to support progression and deepen understanding over time.
Children today will grow up in a world shaped by technologies that don't yet exist. Our activities are designed to develop curiosity, creativity and problem solving skills while giving children space to think independently, test ideas and make connections between their learning and the world around them. We also share practical STEM ideas and resources to help families and schools continue learning beyond the session.
Ways They Will Thrive
Build Confidence
Children experience the pride of turning their ideas into real creations.Develop Critical Thinking
Open-ended challenges encourage children to test ideas and think in new ways. Strengthen Resilience
Children learn to improve their designs and keep going when things do not work the first time. Grow Curiosity
Each activity sparks questions and nurtures a lifelong love of learning. Children are encouraged to ask questions and explore how things work. How We Help
Small groups
We provide a safe structure, small groups (max 10) and specialist guidance. This unique setting is perfect for bringing your child’s ideas to life.Designed for confidence
Trying something new can feel scary, but we’ll be right there cheering them on — not doing it for them. The real confidence comes from having a go, making changes, trying again and realising “I did that myself!”Space to Create
Creativity and imagination flourish in our sessions. Goodbye step-by-step instructions - hello exciting resources and the freedom to innovate.
